It'll be cool to track the games we finish in 2010.

Yesterday I finished Assassins Creed eins (I know it's "old school" already but it was the first time for me).

What games have you finished so far?

I got Halo3 and ODST so I decided to play through them on legendary again with my Live account this time.  I did Splosion Man the other day as well, brilliant game, not too long but brilliant.  Can't remember if I did Red Faction Guerilla this year or the end of last...  Gona have to chill out on the gaming front though with Uni work Sad

I think I finished Modern Warfare 2 in early January. Possibly late december. I'm a christmas noob but I had done 2/3rds of it before I got my own copy. I'll have my level 79 within a few weeks of comeleting...

Mass Effect 2! How awesome is this shit? Will hopefully be done by sunday night, as that is the last night I will be bludging at my 52" plasmas' house. I mean parents house. Problem is I could finish it in a few hours or so if I stuck to the story, but I really, really like doing the side missions. I just got Tali on my team, with only one missing now and only 2 loyal followers.

Great game. So many flaws, so many things I would have done better. It's not Uncharted 2... it might not even be Assassins creed 2... I'm not even sure if it is as good as Mass Effect 1, (in terms of not having shitty scanning minigames, and choices that REALLY matter) though at 3 times the length so far it's close enough to be considered superior just on length, characterisation and combat design. It's also "Deeper" but it takes 10 hours to get to the the point where you feel your combat methods and decisions actual make a difference.

I spend less time fucking around in my inventory but more time wasted scanning planets than in ME. It looks great, and I know it's optional but it's UPGRADES man! Why couldn't they make it like the planet exploration in Star Control 2? (Ur-quan Masters is the cool public domain official source code modern OS port. Google, DL and complete for free if you want to keep being my mate). That was always exciting! And interactive! It feels like punching number plates out in prison in ME2. I would rather take the Mako out for a hoon on a desolate shithole.

Anyway, if I was a consultant on nerdy space games those games would be better. Still love it though.

Yeah the scanning is brutal and unecessary, but your gettin up to the point where your decisions will properly matter cos it'll have consequences for your team .

Completed as in finish the game, or as in get all achievement/trophy points?

For the latter, completed for me this year -

Terminator Salvation - Buggy as hell, but not a difficult 1K.
Two Worlds - Bloody visit all caves and locations achievements....Brenzz, I can finally return this to you now!!  Roll Eyes
Wall:e - Don't say a word
1 vs 100 - Can't wait for the next series of this, great fun.
Lego Indiana Jones 2

I have finished the following, but not got all achievements -

ME2 - I actually prefer ME1 and missed the Mako. Just need to finish on insanity and rack up warp/fire kills.
AC2 - Better sequel.
MW2 - Playing through on veteran, also need to do spec ops.
The Incredible Hulk
